THE IRISH IMMIGRATION & PASTORAL CENTER OF PHILADELPHIA
Founded in 1998, The Irish Immigration and Pastoral Center of Philadelphia is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to advising and assisting immigrants with a variety of issues pertaining to housing, employment and immigration matters. The Center also serves as a community hub for Irish immigrants in the Philadelphia area.

Some of the social services provided by IIPCP:
- passport application and renewal.
- visa application.
- assistance with obtaining emergency medical care for those without insurance.
- assistance in finding counseling/rehabilitation for those with substance dependancies, post-traumatic stress, etc.
- major life event/crisis assistance.

Other IIPCP activities:
- Partner of Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform (www.ilir.org) - bus trips to DC to lobby on behalf of Irish immigrants
- "Young at Heart" Prime Timers Social Club - every Friday, this club made up of senior citizens from the community meets at the center for free lunch and lots of laughs.
- Official Philadelphia Rose of Tralee centre.
- Computer Classes for beginners.
- Mothers' Social Club.
- Gaelic Language Classes (starting Fall 2007)
