Philadelphia Rose of Tralee
Celebrating 10 Years
2002-2012

The search is on for the 2012 Philadelphia Rose of Tralee!

Roses must:

-be between the ages of 18-27 years old

-have never been married

-have traceable Irish ancestry

-reside in the Philadelphia area

The Philadelphia Rose Gala will be held in late March/early April 2012 (exact date TBD). The young woman who is chosen as the 2012 Philadelphia Rose will travel to the International Rose of Tralee Regional Finals in Ireland in early June (all expenses paid). If selected as a finalist, she will then travel to the International Rose of Tralee Festival in County Kerry, Ireland in August 2012 (all expenses paid). 

The Rose of Tralee is not a beauty pageant. We are seeking young women who are high-achieving, interested or already involved in charitable pursuits, and can serve as role models for the younger generation of Irish-American girls in the Philadelphia area. The Philadelphia Rose of Tralee maintains a "high profile" throughout the year at various functions and charitable events.

The Rose Petal and Rosebud programs are great opportunities for younger ladies to get involved with the Rose of Tralee! Please note: the Rose Petals and Rosebuds do NOT compete!

Rose Petals are between the ages of 13-17 years old.

Rosebuds are between the ages of 5-12 years old.

 The "Petals" and "Buds" are future Roses, and are presented along with the Rose Candidates on the night of the Philadelphia Rose Gala. They also participate in Rose of Tralee events throughout the year! This is a wonderful opportunity to form lasting friendships and get involved in the local Irish community.
