Could you be the next Philadelphia Rose of Tralee?

The search is on! We are seeking young women between the ages of 18-27 (not reaching their 28th birthday before August 17, 2012) who are interested in representing Philadelphia at the International Rose of Tralee festival this summer, and serving as the Philadelphia Rose throughout the year.

In addition to the age criteria, Roses should not be married (and never before married), and have traceable Irish ancestry. We are seeking young women who have a strong interest in community service and charitable activities.

The young woman chosen as the Philadelphia Rose of Tralee will travel to the international finals in Portlaoise, Ireland at the end of May to compete for a spot in the International Festival in August in Tralee, County Kerry.

The Philadelphia Rose will represent the Philadelphia Rose Centre throughout the year at various events. She will also select a charity to work with throughout her reign.  

The Rose of Tralee is not a beauty pageant, and you do not need a special talent or stage piece to participate.
