Introducing the Rosepetals

This is yet another fun
opportunity for young
women who would like to
participate in the Rose of
Tralee!

How old are the
Rosepetals?
Between the ages of 13-17
years old.

What do the Rosepetals do
on selection night?
The Rosepetals are "Roses in
Waiting" who will help make a
special presentation to the
Rose Candidates on the night
of the selection ball. They will
also be introduced into the
ballroom with the Rose
Candidates.

Is one Rosepetal picked as
the "winner"?
No! This is not a competition.
The Rosepetals will have a fun
experience  and get a firsthand
glimpse of what it is like to be
a Rose Candidate.

What do the Rosepetals
have to wear?
There are no mandatory dress
requirements, but anything
from party or cocktail dress to
a more formal gown is
appropriate.

Do the Rosepetals
participate in any other
events?
Absolutely! An afternoon tea
will be held about a month
prior to the selection ball in
honor of the Rosebuds and
Rosepetals. Throughout the
year, the Rosepetals will be
invited to attend events related
to the Philadelphia Rose of
Tralee.
